According to the state Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, the move would transfer Oceanic Time Warner Cable’s Hawaii cable franchises to Comcast.
Two public hearings about the issue are slated to be hosted the island.
The first is at 4:30 p.m. Monday, July 14, at the West Hawaii Civic Center, 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway, Kailua-Kona.
The second is at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, at Aupuni Center Conference Room, 101 Pauahi St., Hilo.
